When I learned Angelic Pretty would be re-releasing this iconic print, it took everything for me not to scream! I'd finally have a chance to snag a dress that stole my heart in 2010.
So, why Milky Planet?Milky Planet has many elements that I love about Sweet Lolita! There are sweets, animals, carnival rides, a castle, rainbows, stars, and moons, and the entire original print is in vibrant pastels and glitter. I may get a cavity just from staring at this print! I still get butterflies when I see pictures of this release! I've spent hours as a beginner Lolita daydreaming and coordinating this dress. Not only did I fall in love with prints due to this design, but my immediate draw solidified my identity as a Sweet Lolita. What's Included? The made-to-order Milky Planet event includes the following in four colors: ♥ Jumperskirt ♥ One Piece ♥ Headbow ♥ Socks Milky Planet Jumperskirt $325Milky Planet One Piece $365The dress for the release looks nearly identical to the 2010 version! With its triple bowed collar, the top of the dress beautifully ties in the scalloped shape at the base of the dress. The piece is slightly more size accommodating, which is always a plus!
The unique ice cream tulle lace and satin ribbon will be used for this release! Unlike the Honey Cake re-release, the primary material is cotton rather than polyester. The print really pops on the black colorway but is equally adorable in the other colorways. Milky Planet Headbow $55Milky Planet OTKs $33My Order RequestI placed an order with Angelic Pretty USA for one Milky Planet Jumperskirt, one pair of the socks, and two headbows in pink. This release doesn't accommodate my measurements, so I will be having the dress altered with the waist ties, extra headbow, and a chiffon bustle! What series would you like to see re-released? I can't wait to read your replies!

This print is so dreamy! I hope you share the results after recieving the dress back from alterations. I have an AP dress that is too small for me with a print I love (Little Bunny Strawberry!), so I've also been looking into alterations. What place have you used that you trust, if you don't mind sharing?

I definitely will share the release pre and post alterations! I've used Strawberry Paper Doll in the past. I've heard Thistledown Emporium is also a great lolita fashion-based alteration service ^^
