Congratulations!Congratulations are in order! It has been exactly one year since I accepted the lolita blog challenge. This challenge was to blog consistently and to post a lolita blog post once a week for a year. Aside from one week due to illness, and another week due to my relocation, I have posted fifty blog posts. Woo-hoo! I am exceedingly proud of the work I have accomplished this year for this blog. My challenge for this year is to have a perfect fifty-two-week blog post streak! I have also thought it may be fun to create a lolita YouTube channel as well, but that would be a project for the new year. Thank-you for the support! Stay Frilly,  Shh, it's a secret!

While it isn't a particularly fun topic of discussion, it is an important topic that needs to be addressed. Many participants of lolita fashion struggle with important, often life impacting, illnesses. I myself am absolutely no exception to this fact. To live each day with chronic pain or quality of life difficulties make the enjoyment of such an extravagant and beautiful fashion a challenge at times.
Here are some suggestions that may help you understand what a friend may experience, or to help you wear the fashion you love despite your illness! |
