What is International Lolita Day?International Lolita Day is a special day for the members of our lolita fashion community. It is a day in which we celebrate this expressive and stunning Japanese fashion. Many Lolitas find this day as a great excuse to wear special coordinates! Lolitas may partake in lolita friendly activities or attend lolita fashion meet-ups. Many times, these events are held in a special place and/or have a theme. When is International Lolita Day?Instead of just one day to officially enjoy lolita fashion, we have two days a year! International Lolita Day is celebrated on the first Saturday of June and again on the first Saturday of December. Not only do we have two excuses a year to dress our best, but we have two seasons to do so as well! This way, most of the world can participate in a lolita holiday in summer and in the winter season. Is there a proper way to celebrate? You should enjoy lolita in whatever way you would like or what is realistic for you. I myself have had a wide range of ways to commemorate this day. On days that I have had to work in the past, I have watched Kamikaze Girls or have purchased from an online lolita shop. Other times, I have been able to take part in picturesque photos shoots, picnics on a grassy knoll, and high tea events! International Lolita Day is an excuse to enjoy the fashion you love and there are hundreds of other Lolitas who are celebrating with you in spirit. Feel free to enjoy the day they way that you would like to celebrate! How will you celebrate this International Lolita Day? I would love to know your answers!

I recently reached out to Dominique aka Pikkochan regarding a dramatic look for my latest doll addition, Lilith. To transform a blank Obitsu girl into a drop dead gorgeous Gothic beauty would be no easy task! The need for a third eye, tattoo and, piercings did not make my request any easier. Thankfully, Pikkochan was willing to give this challenge a shot. I am so happy with the results!
A New Doll Has Arrived!I recently cleaned out my closet of unwanted collectibles. To my astonishment, I was able to purchase my third Obitsu doll! After some careful consideration, I decided to shell one of my darker characters, Lilith. After I settled on the 45 cm size, I made my way online to complete my purchase!
**Warning: This blog post will contain artistic appreciation of the doll's form aka doll nudity.
Happy Halloween!
My recent wardrobe addition of Sweet Cherry Deer by Souffle Song was automatically my costume inspiration this year. Since the internet poll I had hosted selected Little Red Riding Hood at the clear favorite, I set to work on the overall look. My Halloween lolita coordinate rundown is as follows: ✓ Sweet Cherry Deer Jumperskirt by Souffle Song ✓ Short Ruffled Ridinghood Style Cape by TeaandTreadle ✓ Blouse by Bunny House ✓ Shoes from Bodyline ✓ Wig from Bodyline ✓ Hair accessory from Sweet Dreamer ✓ Other accessories are off-brand Between our company Halloween party, a Stranger Things marathon and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, it was one of the best Halloween says yet. I hope you had a fantastic Halloween too! Stay Frilly,
