We all have a dream dress. Many of us have more than one! While the time we spend hunting on the internet for hidden treasures can be fun, we could use that time for other fun activities. The thought of missing the opportunity to purchase our desired item, however, often keeps us from stopping.

I have great news for you!

Google Alerts is a simple search engine tool for content. When a new mention of your search terms is posted, you can receive a notification. Let me show you how to use it!

1. Go to www.google.com/alerts

With your Google+ or email account, log in to google alerts. In the Create an alert about... section, put in the title of the item that you are searching for. You can make it as specific, or generic, as you'd like.

2. Enter the item title

For my alert, I want to put a very specific alert in. I want to find Kuma Kumya Marine Island JSK 2. The color is less important to me. However, I do not want the first dress style due to the fit of the piece.

3. Create an alert

Once the name of the item has been entered, create the alert. You can update the alert options at any time! These options include how often you get an email alert, as well as separate emails or a digest.

Your alert has been created! You can edit details about the alert and notifications here at any time.

5. Get your dream dress!

When you receive the alerts to your email, you can sort through them. Some of the emails might be someone just mentioning the item, or posting a coordinate with it. You can add keywords such as buy or sell to your alert if needed.

Once you find the item for sale, it's up to you if you'd like to purchase the item right away, or if you'd like to wait for another potential listing. The alert will detail the source of the information. This way, you can tell if the item is listed on Yahoo Japan, Lace Market, Closet Child, or another shop.

Wasn't that easy? I hope that this tool will help you find what you are questing! What are some of your dream pieces? Have you obtained one of your dream items? What did you obtain?

Stay Frilly,
