Holy Lantern and Little Devil's Emblems Dress Comparison!

One of my favorite Angelic Pretty release lines of all time is the coveted Holy Lantern series. All the lanterns, crosses, stars, chandeliers, bat wings and crescent moons among the pieces of this series are an eerie addition to any lolita coordinate!

Like many of the popular brand releases, Holy Lantern is one of the more expensive lines on second-hand marketplaces. With the recent addition of Pink-Up's Little Devil's Emblems design, there may be a less expensive, and a customizable, alternative!

Similarities

Picture
✠ A Hauntingly Eerie Print
The print on each release features many of the same concepts that make up the design. Each print features the elements of lanterns with bat wings, crescent moons, crosses, and candles.

✠ A Similar Colorway
Angelic Pretty's Holy Lantern series produced multiple colorway options. Pink-Up's Little devil’s Emblems compliments the AP release colorways well with a white, crimson red and navy option.

✠ Accents Pieces
The small details that make each series unique are the small accents on the items. Both releases share similar attributes, such as a ribbon color contrast and golden charm elements.

✠ A Similar Aesthetic
Each piece, when compared to one another, seems to follow a similar shape and aesthetic. Each one-piece dress features a bow, a high neck collar and long sleeves that feature a wide base cuff.

✠ Construction
The dresses for each lolita brand share a similar material structure. Each piece has been constructed of: flocking chiffon, lace and feature a bold and stunning velvet print.

Conclusion

Picture
I am very impressed with Pink-Up's line. While each dress shares multiple similarities to Angelic Pretty's Holy Lantern series, Little Devil's Emblems appears to be an independent, inspired and replica free alternative to the brand release! From the haunting print attributes to the material used to construct this piece, I cannot find a reason to not add a Little Devil's Emblems dress to my wardrobe!

Of course, I do not expect the same brand quality when compared to an Angelic Pretty release item, but at a reasonable price of $95, it is a gamble I am willing to take. I can confidently state that there will be a product review from me in the near future of this spooky print by this Taobao brand soon!

What are your thoughts? Are you interested in purchasing something from this Taobao brand? What about this particular series release? I would love to read your comments and your opinions!
