My Home for My Lolita Clothes and Accessories

Let's talk about storage!

Lolita fashion pieces are far too precious not to store and display safely. I have a designated area to store all my pretty dresses, shoes and accessories. Since my lolita clothes and accessories take up more room than my casual and work clothes, it is nice to have them in their own specific area. Additionally, by having a specific area for my lolita items, I can protect my everyday clothes from my non-lolita items.
The best part of having a lolita closet is that I can view all my items at once!

My Lolita Closet

Lolita Shoes, Angelic Pretty, My-Lolita-Dress, Precious Clove, Maxicimam, Bunny House, Dear Celine, Bodyline, JSK, Blouse, Lolita Blouse, Lolita JSK, Petticoat, Lolita Skirt
My lolita wardrobe closet is a great size! I am able to fit all my current items, as well as future purchased items easily! I absolutely love that this closet is white in the interior and exterior. The white background really helps to showcase each piece. Due to the closet layout and display, I can see each item easily which truly makes lolita coordination a breeze!

On the top shelf, I house my lolita shoes, lolita purses and a pink box that contains my lolita accessories. As I purchase additional pairs of shoes, I can move them down to the bottom of the closet. This would allow for more room for additional purses For the meantime, however, there is plenty of room for both!

The Closet Rod

Picture
On the single rod within the closet is where I house all my lolita clothes. My blouses, dresses, skirt, petticoat, and bloomers can be found here. See what I mean about ease? I can clearly see each piece as it hangs safely in the closet. Each piece is hung on its own individual cloth hanger. I absolutely adore these silk hangers I found at a local department store! The hangers are almost as the items themselves and are extremely gentle on my lolita clothes. After all, nothing is worse than old elastic.

Next to my lolita pieces I have my Baby, the Stars Shine Bright parasol and a pink garment bag. The garment bag is absolutely perfect for things I wish to protect in normal storage and absolutely phenomenal for travel. I can easily pack a complete coordinate in just the one storage bag!

My Accessory Box

Picture
My accessory box, which is housed on the top shelf of my closet, is the perfect place for all my little lolita accessories! All my head bows, hair clips, headbands, socks, detachable sleeves, and lolita jewelry can be found here. Thankfully the box is large as well as deep. This way, I do not have to fear the box becoming anytime soon! When it is too full I will most likely place the items into separate boxes with similar items. This box really is a great inexpensive, and adorable, storage solution!

and there you have it!

That is how I store my lolita clothes and accessories. I would love to hear how you store yours!

Stay Frilly,
