My Initial Impressions of Welcome to my Dollhouse by Lady Sloth

This release is simply charming!

I have been a fan of the independent Polish Lolita brand Lady Sloth for quite some time. All of the designs and releases for this brand are lovely and unique. There is one particular series that has captured my heart and my attention, Welcome to my dollhouse. With this series coming to a close at the end of the year, I just had to share it.

Welcome to my dollhouse is a lolita release that blends two of my favorite things: dolls and lolita!

The Print

The print, created by Antygea, features golden frames with darling illustrations inside. A lovely snapshot of dollhouse scenes can be seen within the gilded frames. Mice, cats and rabbit ball-jointed dolls can be seen posing or caring on with everyday activities within their precious dollhouse.

Unlike most releases, this series has a gothic and a sweet version of the print! The sweet style print depicts relaxing activities, such as drinking tea, listening to music and reading. The gothic print features malicious depictions of severed doll parts, cracked faced dolls and other fitting scenes.

The Construction

These pieces are made out of a high-quality chiffon and feature a bold print. Each piece is fully lined. One of the amazing aspects of this and other pieces by Lady Sloth is that you can order a set size or you can have the piece custom sized. This additional service does not even require an added fee!

I simply could not let this opportunity pass me by! I took advantage of the payment plan and ordered two pieces. I will do a review of the short jumperskirt and the bonnet in lavender when they arrive.
I cannot wait to add these new items to my lolita wardrobe! What are your thoughts? Do you like the sweet or gothic print the best? I'd love to read your opinions!

Stay Frilly,

Elizabeth,

I completely agree! It was very difficult to choose while color I wanted to order. The fit of the dress looks so lovely on the model and other lolitas I have seen - I hope it looks great on me, too!

The print on these pieces is so charming in pictures that I can't wait to see it in person!
