Souffle Song is an indie lolita brand located in China. With their original jaw-dropping Gothic and Sweet Lolita pieces, there is bound to be something you would like to have in your closet.

I stumbled across Souffle Song through the Taobao resale shops, such as My-Lolita-Dress and Lolita Wardrobe. While on the main lolita group in Amino, I was able to connect with another plus-size Lolita who had a beautiful jumperskirt by this brand. Since I was able to establish it was a brand that produced good quality pieces, I ransacked the internet for Souffle Song's website. Once I found it. I made my dress wish list. I learned that they discontinued their custom sizing! Thankfully this limitation was short lived on my end, since the customer service team informative me that this service had been reinstated only two short days later, whew! I was extremely relieved at this news.

It was so hard to decide which dress to purchase first! I finally settled on the Sweet Cherry Deer piece. As I went to put in my custom measurements for the $15.00 fee, I realized that the L size would fit! The dress came in four colorway. It was difficult to choose which colorway to purchase.

​Decisions, decisions.

As I accessed my current wardrobe, and I decided that the beige colorway would be the best choice.

​I had to add this dress to my wardrobe. I love cherries, ribbons, and hearts in my prints. The fact that there are little fawns, bluebirds, rabbits, and squirrels were far too adorable to pass up! To me, the print appears to be a mature style and a great fit for a Classic Sweet Lolita. It is such a darling print.

Placing an Order

To place a product order on Souffle Song was easy! You can select the color and size of the items you would like to buy. After you add your desired items to your cart, you can place your order.

I selected the Sweet Cherry Deer Heart Belt Jumperskirt in beige as well as the matching head bow. Since the L size measurements were so accommodating, I was able to buy the in-stock dress item.

Since I was not in a rush to get my items, I selected the slowest shipping speed. This option was the EMS-shipping packet. At only $12.00 for international shipping, how could I resist!

I purchased my items on July 17, 2017. The order was sent on July 21, 2017. Souffle Song sent an email to inform me how I could track my parcel as it made its way from China to my doorstep.

My order arrived on August 4, 2017, in a modest-sized ems envelope. I could not believe this order came in two weeks, especially since the shipping price was modest. Let's review the items, shall we?

Headbow

The head bow was wrapped alone, which is always nice! The construction of the head bow is very well done. The main printed material is soft, yet sturdy. I was happy to see that the print on the bow was clear to see and free of any imperfections. the structure of the bow is very well done, and the lace is soft and well detailed. I was surprised to find that the printed material was embossed!

I just love the tiny details of the bow! The small print features the overall components of the dress, which include cherries and lovely mint leaves, various lace designs, ribbons​, daisies, and hearts. I love that the lace features daisies! My only complaint is that the color of the lace is white, not ivory.

The headbow is lovely! The material that has been used is sturdy and features lovely details, such as a clear and distinct print and embossed fabric. It loses two points in my opinion because the head bow base is thinner than I would like. Also, the lace is white rather than ivory. Sadly, the overall color of the dress and the headbow is ivory. The fact that the lace on this item is white is a distraction.

And now for the pièce de résistance! The dress was wrapped in its own plastic bag, which displayed the brand name and the size. Even from within the bag it was easy to see this was a great choice!

The details of this dress are nothing short of incredible! The materials of fantastic quality. In addition to this, there are a tremendous range of specialized sewing techniques used within this piece.

The dress features many various styles of lace, all the fantastic quality! The dress features an intricate lace latticework along the ribbons on the straps. It is also featured along the ribbon across the neckline. Smaller ivory lace is used at the top of the bodice and along the underarms. A larger lace is along the outside of the straps. Lastly, and the most charming lace, is the heart shaped lace along the bodice. It can also be found at the pleats of the bodice, and the lace around the waist bow.

The gathered material at the top of the dress is lovely and makes it flattering shape when worn.

I am beyond impressed with the small details of the print! Small iterations of cherries litter the print. There are heart cherries, natural cherries surrounded among mint green leaves. It also showcases daisies! The lace border in the print has small pink cherries! The material is completely embossed, just like the head bow! The texture of the embossed material features an intricate leaf design. The background of the dress also features pink polka dots, which only adds to its charm! The line art of most of the items features a flattering lavender color, rather a black or brown line art.

The border print of the dress features a charming array of birds, fawns, rabbits, and squirrels. All the animals feature charming spring accessories. These include large head bows, hair ribbons, daisies, and wildflowers. The animals are illustrated in such a sweet manner and feature various poses. I especially love their lashes! All the animals interact with one another and the delicious cherries.

I mean, just look how cute the rabbit and squirrel are! I didn't even know that there were squirrels in the print. This discover is a bonus! I love how there are many patterns within the ribbons as well. The various coordinate accessory possibilities are quite extensive, even with only what the animals wear.

The dress features partial, and stretchy, shirring! This makes the dress more comfortable to wear. Since it is partial shirring the dress looks more flattering when worn. The dress is true to its measurements. The dress also features lining and a slip, all which has been stitched well.

The waist ties are especially adorable! I love the fact that they are heart-shaped with ribbons. The waist ties are attached to the dress with adorable and secure pearl heart-shaped buttons. Also, the dress straps are also secured with heart-shaped pearl buttons, just a smaller size. They are too cute!

This dress is beyond stunning and deserves a higher rating! The dress is incredibly well constructed, it is made with high-quality materials, and features various incredible sewing techniques. I cannot get over how unbelievably beautiful this dress is. I am completely won over by the overall design of the piece. From the tiny lace details to the embossed fabric to the high-quality dress print, this dress is my absolute favorite dress piece in my current wardrobe collection. I am extremely impressed!

The communication with Souffle Song was easy and fast. I contacted them twice. The first time it was a question about the custom sizing. The second time, it concerned which pieces I could customize. When they once again offered custom sizing, they contacted me to explain that the service was once again available. I am very confident to communicate with them in the future.

I shipped both items with the least expensive shipping option Souffle Song offered. This was the e-packet for the small fee of $12. I do not know how long the customization pieces take, but the in-stock items were sent very quickly. I am completely impressed that my order arrived in two weeks!

Both of the items are expertly made and are made with high quality materials! While the head bow could improve with some adjustments, the dress is beyond my expectations. I am very impressed!
