Honestly, I had to read this a few times to ensure I read it right, but here it is. While I'm sure you meant well, I had to think about my response before addressing it.

​Everyone has the right to wear this style, including people with invisible disabilities. I am one of these Lolitas. If you have seen more Lolitas being open about their struggles, that's a beautiful trend! Representation is vital.

You aren't wrong about wearing lolita fashion being a challenge with fibro. During a flare, there are times when I cannot get out of bed, let alone plan a coordinate. Sometimes my nerves are so sensitive I can only wear very light fabrics. I constantly have to weigh my activities with my physical daily limit.

This does not diminish my love for fashion. This style is about something other than what logically makes sense. After all, would we choose to wear this style based on logic? It's about how fashion makes us feel. I adore the beautiful prints, full skirts, lace, ruffles, and unique aesthetic. When I'm not wearing the style, I'm still browsing lolita websites, creating content, and making jewelry to compliment the style. Even my video games and ball-jointed dolls often involve lolita! Lolita helps me feel beautiful and gives me an excuse to use my voice and the courage to take up space.

While I cannot wear lolita as often as I'd like, it makes the days I can wear it mean even more.
