I attended an exhibit close to my home that featured a collection of Victorian clothing. My local lolita community had a weekday meet-up at the museum. While I was unable to attend the weekday afternoon meet-up, I was able to get to the museum to see this unique, historical fashion exhibit!
The votes for my 2017 Halloween costume are now in! With my recent wardrobe addition of Souffle Song's Sweet Cherry Deer Jumperskirt, I just had to incorporate this piece into my outfit for Halloween. Between Twitter, Lolita Amino and emails there was a clear winner for this year's theme.
The results are especially surprising to me mainly since I added the Little Red Riding Hood option very last minute in order to balance the poll. While the fawn/deer costume idea was fairly well received, however in comparison to Little Red Riding Hood there was no contest. Over half of the participants that contributed to the poll selected this unexpected option to be the selected costume.
With the purchase of a bright red cape, a long sleeve off-white blouse and a picnic basket, I believe the overall costume will be absolutely charming! There will of course be coordinate photos.
Thank you everyone for your help, and remember to Stay Frilly!
Which costume would you like to see me wear this year? I would love to see your votes on Lolita Amino, Lolita 101 Amino, Tumblr, Twitter, on my YouTube videos or right here on this blog post!
I really appreciate your help with this unexpected and difficult decision!
My order from Souffle Song is here!
I am ecstatic to share that my recent purchases from Souffle Song have arrived! Nothing is better than a new dress. This is my first purchase from the Souffle Song, but this order will not be my last!
