Sometimes, lolita pieces need to move on.

There comes a time in a Lolita's life when an item, or several, sit unused in the closet. Perhaps it is a piece that no longer fits your style or a piece that no longer hangs on you properly. Nevertheless, the clothing item or accessory needs to find another home. Some items are easier to pass along than others, but you may find you experience nostalgia about this piece that grips you at random times.

No problem! Here are my tips on how to break up with unused items in your lolita closet.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are almost here!

Black Friday is a very popular day to shop for holiday gifts or other material desires. Hundreds of people around the globe wake up insanely early, stand in long lines, often in the cold weather to get access to annual and unbelievable discounts.

While this shopping phenomenon began in the United States of America, many countries have taken advantage of this day and offer amazing sales and discounts to their customers. Over the past few years, there have been many lolita fashion shops that have taken up this commercial tradition.
Here are some lolita brands and shops that you should keep an eye out for on Black Friday!

Trick-or-treat!

This holiday is one of my absolute favorites! The scary movies, decorations and candy are some of my favorite aspects about this glorious eve. I am extremely lucky that I am able to wear lolita fashion to work on a workday Halloween day.

This year, I wanted to wear one of my favorite lolita dresses, Chocolate Bear Coty-chan Sweets Wonderland by Maxicimam. I had a fun time making this clown inspired lolita coordinate!

Sweets, candy, sugar and more sweets!

To say that I have a lot of sweet-themed accessories is a bit of an understatement!

Here is a coordinate rundown:

Jumperskirt - Maxicimam
Blouse - Glitter Tale
Hairbow - The Little Bow Bakery
Plastic Barrette - Baby, The Stars Shine Bright
Frosted Barrette - BB&B Deco
Necklace - Handmade
Additional Hair Accessories - Handmade
Wristcuffs - Bodyline
Shoes - Bodyline
Everything Else - Off Brand

Clowning Around

To add some clown aesthetic to my coordinate, I added a ruffled collar. This little gem is from Amazon and on $11! Additionally, I opted to design a clown mask with simplified make up. I really enjoyed being able to play around with it! I used a blend of pink and yellow eye shadow, white face paint to make the circles and this great chunky glitter that I found on Amazon, too!

The pink make up I bought did not work for the nose, so I used lipstick. The color stayed in all day long and well into the evening, hooray!
