And Now for a Fun and Informative Lolita Wardrobe Survey!

I want to give a huge shout out to Evil Goth Bunny for the creation of this Lolita wardrobe survey! A lot of the Lolitas on Amino had filled out these questions. I really wanted to post my answers to these questions about my lolita wardrobe, too.

Feel free to considered yourself tagged! I would love to read your answers to these burning questions. Some of my answers may surprise you!

1. Do you still own the first lolita item that you bought?

No, I no longer own my first lolita piece. The first lolita piece I purchased was a "lolita" piece from eBay. The material, lace, and ribbon details were of a decent quality, but the dress had been assembled with black thread. It would be a better costume piece, rather than an addition to my lolita wardrobe. I ended up getting rid of the piece to make room for true lolita wardrobe pieces.

2. What is the oldest lolita piece in your wardrobe?

Technically, the oldest piece I own is a Baby, the Stars Shine Bright parasol that a friend purchased for me in Japan. The oldest lolita clothing piece I own would by my Bodyline jumperskirt l348 in pink.

3. What is the newest lolita piece in your wardrobe?

My most recent lolita wardrobe addition would by my Angelic Pretty Melty Cream Doughnut jumperskirt. I was a dream dress of mine for years, so I am ecstatic that I was able to purchase it!

4. What is the cheapest main piece in your wardrobe?

The least expensive item would have to be my handmade lolita skirt. The material was on sale originally, so my mother was able to make the skirt lovely, but inexpensive. It is a nice main piece.

5. What is the most expensive piece in your wardrobe?

My most expensive piece would be my Angelic Pretty Melty Cream Doughnut jumperskirt.

6. Which of your lolita items is your favorite?

This may be a little redundant, but my favorite Lolita item is my newest addition. I am head over heels in love with my lovely Melty Cream Doughnut!

7. Which item in your lolita wardrobe do you wear the most?

This is a tough question! I would have to say that I wear my Precious Clove Letters to a Dear Lolita jumperskirt in the pink colorway most frequently. I just love the print of that particular piece so much!

8. Which item in your lolita wardrobe do you wear the least?

My handmade skirt is the piece I wear less frequently than the rest of my pieces. I prefer full dresses.

9. Is there anything in your wardrobe that you haven't worn?

Of course not! I usually buy lolita items well after I need them. I always use them when they arrive.

10. What is missing from your lolita wardrobe?

I need to add quite a few items to my wardrobe. I need an additional petticoat, a pink blouse, an off-white blouse, another pink jumperskirt, a pink winter coat, a pair of tall winter boots and more bags.

11. When will your lolita wardrobe be complete?

Never! I am certain new designs and prints will make their way into my wardrobe. This fashion allows and inspires changes I grow with this beautiful fashion style, and I do not want to be limited by the main pieces and accessories that are present in my wardrobe at a specific point in time.

12. What was the last lolita item you sold or threw away?

I sold a lovely chiffon lolita blouse that I had bought from my-lolita-dress.com. The measurements were incorrect. Thankfully the piece made it's way to another Lolita's collection and it fit her just fine!

13. How many OPs do you have?

Unfortunately, none. I do have plans to purchase two new one-piece dresses next year however!

14. How many JSKs do you have?

There are currently four jumperskirts that I own, and that are part of my wardrobe!

15. How many skirts do you have?

I own just one Lolita skirt. I have a preference for Lolita dresses, rather than skirts.

16. How many petticoats do you have?

Just one. I do need to purchase more for additional shapes, poof and weights for various seasons.

17. When you first started wearing lolita, what did you want your wardrobe to be like?

I wanted my wardrobe to be full and diverse. I didn't necessarily want a ridiculous amount of lolita pieces, but items I truly loved. The more pastel, candy, and animal prints and accessories the better! Additionally, I wanted to have enough pieces so I would be able to wear lolita as my main clothing style. Originally, my favorite pieces are extremely over the top in comparison to my style now!

18. What would you like your lolita wardrobe to be in the future?

Closer to the wardrobe of my dreams. I want to be able to add more sweet and classic pieces to my wardrobe, add more essentials and have enough accessories to style and adapt the pieces I do have!

This survey was so much fun! I will be sure to take it once again in about a year to see how the answers have changes. Please fill out this survey as well and post your answers, or your link, below!
