My 2020 Lolita New Year's Goals

Now that it is a new year I have been thinking a lot about my goals lolita goals for 2020. Historically, my New Year's Resolutions are rigid and practically. For example, my intentions in previous years were to add basics to my lolita wardrobe, maintain my blog and maintain my YouTube channel. While all of these goals are obtainable, there was little room for fun. This year is going to be different!

Here are my three whimsical and fun lolita goals in 2020!

1. Discover New Places

When a friend of mine mentioned that she wanted to actively visit more local cafes, I couldn't help but agree! There is so much of my state that I have not seen. From state parks to cafes and hidden gem antique shops, my goal is to experience more this year! Many of these surroundings would make for lovely lolita coordinate shots, too! With this resolution, I can broaden my surroundings and look fashionable at the same time! Talk about a win-win.

2. On the Hunt

There are always items we would like. Usually, I casually search for the items on my lolita wish list. Occasionally, I will absentmindedly put keywords into Lace Market or Closet Child with few results. This year, I'd like to actively hunt the pieces I want the most! The hunt will begin with My Sweet Mate Kumya's Baby Anniversary Lillian Skirt in any color, an Usakumya or Kuma Kumya purse, and Melty Royal Chocolate Tote Bag in brown. Let the hunt begin!

3. Connect with Lolitas

I enjoy spending time with other lolitas and I would love to do it more! I want to make more meets for our local lolita community. It would be a lot of fun to visit another community out-of-state as well! The Disneyland lolita day feels like a dream I'd love to wake up in. How about participating in larger Japanese pop-culture conventions, or event Paradiso? All of these options have been considered and ones that I would love to make a reality in 2020.
