My Six Last Minute Festive and Holiday Lolita Meetup Ideas

The Holidays are almost here!

Play some tunes and break out the hot chocolate; the holidays are almost here. As the holidays draw closer, here are seven last-minute meetups for you and your frilly companions!

Ice Skating

This fantastic and traditional winter pastime is a great activity to do in a group, especially around the holidays. Not only is it fun and fairly inexpensive, but it gives you and your lolita friends a great excuse to show off your adorable winter lolita wardrobe. So, break out your earmuffs, lolita winter coats, printed tights, and winter boots and enjoy the crisp outdoors!

DIY Ornaments

This is an extremely fun way to add new ornaments to your holiday decorations. Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite ornament designs, designs they would like to try, and crafting supplies. This way, everyone in the group is able to experiment and create multiple new ornaments. The best part is that everyone has a lovely memento of the event to take home!

Cookie Decorating

This sweet and tasty tradition is a must for the holiday season. All attendees to the lolita meet-up are encouraged to bake and bring their favorite cookies to the meet, along with their favorite decorating supplies! The cookies you bring home be a delicious variety of flavors and be diverse in shape and decor! Hot tea, cocoa, cider, and egg nog is extremely encouraged!

Mansion Tours

In Portland, Maine there is a beautiful tradition at the Victorian Mansion where the historic building is decorated in festive decorations. The mansion is available for tours, the tickets are reasonably priced, and the mansion is a stunning backdrop for any lolita meet. If there are any festival of tree events or historical building tours in your area, it will be a meet-up experience no one will forget!

Gift Wrapping Party

We all have a lot of gifts to wrap at this time of the year. All attendees can bring gifts that they need to wrap for family and friends, and their favorite wrapping paper to share! Not only will you have pleasant company, but you will also have a variety of paper to wrap with! Be sure to make a great holiday music playlist and share some delicious holiday drinks and treats!

Festive Lights

Many cities and town have holiday light displays. These grand and festive light showcases feature gorgeous lights and holiday decorations amongst the green. Many of these events are outdoors, so you are able to show off your winter wears. There are also displays indoors, such as in botanical gardens, and are a beautiful backdrop to any coordinate shot!

And there you have it! Those are my five last minute Lolita meet-up ideas. Which idea was your favorite?
